This notice explains how DIREMA Srl processes the personal data of users who visit direma.it, browse the catalogue or submit contact and quotation enquiries.

1. Data controller

2. Data we process

  • Browsing and security data: IP address, date and time, requested URL, device and browser information, technical logs and data needed to prevent abuse.
  • Data provided voluntarily: name, company, email address, telephone number and the content of communications.
  • Product enquiries: selected products, codes and quantities, together with the contact details entered in the form.
  • Cookie preferences: choices made through the consent panel.

The website does not request special-category personal data. Please do not enter such data in free-text fields.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • providing the website and ensuring its security and availability: the Controller’s legitimate interest;
  • replying to information, support and quotation enquiries: taking pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject;
  • complying with legal, administrative and accounting obligations: legal obligation;
  • using non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, where present: consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.

Mandatory fields are required to process an enquiry. If they are not provided, the form cannot be submitted.

4. Processing and recipients

Data is processed electronically using appropriate security measures and access is restricted to authorised personnel. It may be disclosed to suppliers acting for DIREMA, including WordPress hosting and maintenance, email and SMTP delivery, security, anti-spam, consent management and IT support providers. Depending on the service, these parties act as processors or independent controllers. Personal data is not sold.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

If a supplier processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or safeguards recognised by the GDPR, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

6. Retention

  • contact and quotation enquiries are retained for the time needed to reply and, as a rule, no longer than 24 months, unless a contractual relationship begins or retention is needed to protect legal rights;
  • administrative and contractual data is retained for the periods required by law;
  • technical logs are retained for the period needed for security, diagnosis and service continuity;
  • cookie preferences follow the durations shown in the consent panel.

7. Cookies and external services

The website uses necessary technical cookies. Any analytics or marketing cookies are activated only according to the preferences selected in the banner. The cookie panel lists the categories and allows consent to be changed or withdrawn. Links to social networks and external websites involve processing by their operators only when opened.
